Biography of David Antonio Fossati (1720-1780)

Painter and printmaker of the Venetian school, born in 1720 and died in 1780. He traveled in Italy and studied the works of the Carracci and the Guido in Bologna. He left some frescos of merit and a collection of prints: views of Venice, the family of Darius at the feet of Alejandro, Jupiter and the vices, and the vocation of San Pedro, all them copies of pictures of Paul Veronese.
