Scottish poet, whose real name was Gavin Douglas. He/She was born in the castle of Tantallon, Scotland, and died in London. He/She studied at the University of Saint Andrews. In 1516 he/she was appointed Bishop of Dunkeld. He/She was pursued by the Tudor Queen Margarita, so left the bishopric and took refuge in London. He/She died from the plague. He/She is the author of two poems: the Palace of honour (1501) and the heart King.
