Biography of Yilmaz Güney (1937-1984)

Director, screenwriter and actor of Turkish cinema, born in 1937 in Adana (Turkey) and died in Paris (France) on September 9, 1984.


Son of Kurdish farmers, published fifteen years a controversial novel about the agrarian struggle while working as an apprentice butcher.
