Biography of Anna Laerkesen (1942-VVVV)

Dancer and choreographer Danish, born in Copenhagen on March 2, 1942. He began his studies in his hometown with the teacher Børge Ralov and edit Frandsen Feifere. He had the opportunity of joining the school of the Royal Danish Ballet in May 1959, a few months later joined the Corps de ballet of the company and made his debut in the lead role of La Sylphide. It amounted to solo in 1964 and prima ballerina assoluta in 1966. In 1961 he made a United States tour with the Group of soloists headed Inge Sand, and in 1969 he toured London, Paris and Helsinki with the Royal Danish Ballet. The choreography that she created include Hommage a Bournonville (Lovenskjold, 1989), Partita (Bach, 1990) and Kindertotenlieder (Mahler, Rückert, 1993).
