Biography of Rafael Moreno Alba (1942-2000)

Spanish film and television Director born in Madrid in 1942 and died in the same city on October 28, 2000. The joys and shadows reached its greatest popularity in 1981 with the adaptation for television of the work of Gonzalo Torrente Ballester .

Moreno Alba began studies in law and merchant shipping, but left to work in film as an Assistant Director. His first work as Director was Gallos de pelea (1969), the melancholy (1971) and triangle (1972) and in 1975 rolled Pepita Jiménez, adaptation of the eponymous novel by Juan Valera. He completed his film career with other productions such as steps long (1986) and the kiss of the dream (1992), film which won the Golden Colon in the Film Festival Iberoamericano de Huelva.

Following the success of the joys and shadows on television directed process Mariana Pineda, series starring the popular Pepa Flores. He died in Madrid without to conclude a new television project on the figure of Miguel Hernández.
