Biography of Pola Negri (1896-1987)

Polish film actress, German and American silent film star, born on December 30, 1896 and died in 1987. He/She began his career in the film world in Poland, where he/she starred in a dozen films. Since 1917 worked in Germany, in the Lubitschfilms: the eyes of the Mummy Ma (1918), Madame Dubarry (1919), Sumurun (1920). In 1922 he/she made the leap to the Mecca of cinema, Holywood, where intervened in the film entitled the Empress (1924). In 1970 he/she appeared his autobiography: memories of a star.
