Biography of José de Pellicer de Ossáu Salas y Tovar (1602-1679)

Spanish writer, born in Zaragoza. Festive nature poet, studied humanities in Salamanca and Madrid, philosophy at Alcala and Canon and civil law in Salamanca. In some of his poems the influence of Gongora, can be seen in the Phoenix and its natural history, 1630, or the Sapphic Astrea, 1641.
