Biography of King of Urartu Rusa III (605-590 a.C.)

(Ru-sa-a or Ur-sa-a) King of Urartu, son and successor of Eriména. As is the case with his father, Russian III nor we have received personal news of importance. The testimony of his Government was collected in a series of cuneiform inscriptions located in the area of Armavir and in the Temple of Tropakh-Kale (these latest incised on shields and fragments of these). His reign was threatened by the expansion of the Medes, which would end the State of Urartu in 585 BC, time in which possibly would govern a Russian IV.
