Biography of Carlos Sahagún (1938-VVVV)

Spanish poet who was born in Onil (Alicante). He studied philology in Madrid, he was reader in Spanish at the University of Exeter during the 1960-1961, and later Professor of language and literature. His first book of poems was published when he was only sixteen years old and was published in Alicante under the title of nascent man. In 1958 he published water (Premio Adonais) prophecies and in 1961 won the Boscán prize of poetry with his book as if a child had died. In 1973 appeared be unto you, and three years later his twelve poems from the book at night. These three last mentioned titles were collected in 1976 in the Memorial of the night volume. After this, he published first and last trade (1979).
