Biography of Gustavo Sosa Escalada (1877-1943)

Musician and journalist Paraguayan born in Buenos Aires in 1877 and died in 1943. Son of a Paraguayan exiled for political reasons, was one of the best composers and Paraguayan guitar makers and one of the first to introduce the technique of classical guitar, although it also taught mathematics at various schools of assumption and collaborated with various newspapers. He was teacher of Agustín Pío Barrios, who shared the stage on several occasions.
